Louis Hoster founded his brewery in Columbus in 1836. With a great recipe and a lot of hard work he built the brewery into one of the largest in Ohio. Hoster Gold Top became Columbus’ Lager. Today, this great Columbus tradition is reborn and Hoster beer once again flows from the taps of its native city.
